Acoustic Solid Solid Wood MPX

Solid Wood MPX, a body of Wood Reference simplified model is an economical version with table and arm. Developing a complex technique and years of different tree species produced by thermal and chemical methods of 7 cm thick wooden casing offers solid ground in the need for excellent performance.

Solid Wood MPX not only non-internal resonances, but also when it is placed in a suitable platform from the ground and air resonance is a unique design take seriously. Under the development of simple and low-key design lies years perfecting a process of time.

6 cm in the production of solid plate in thickness was developed for aviation and aerospace applications were used in a special aluminum alloy. The enormous massive table and patiently turning a slow process of metal, ultra-low tolerance. In this way, similar in appearance to pickup things are non-existent common centering and roll errors for Solid Wood MPX.

The body of the top two layers of the table milled from solid aluminum alloy and acrylic specially treated leather. Long listening and inside the composite structure of the fruit, which is decided after the measurement session and from any external attenuation reaching resonance of the needle and the jet-black background was all musical details emerge gracefully.

Acoustic Solid Classic Wood

The Acoustic Solid Classic Wood is designed for those who want a turntable in the more classical style. It uses a heavy 35mm thick aluminium platter running on our precision "zero tolerance" bearing. This is mounted on to a solid 39mm thick MDF plinth, which is finished with a cherry veneer. The platter is string-driven by a separately housed synchronous motor, powered by our microprocessor controlled supply unit. As well as being visually very attractive, the Acoustic Solid Classic Wood is a talented musical performer. The bass is solid yet agile, allowing the bass lines in the music to be easily followed. Wide and well-focused stereo images combined with excellent detail retrieval allow all the instruments in a piece to be followed, even when the music becomes complex and dynamic. Dynamics are themselves well reproduced. All in all, the Acoustic Solid Classic Wood is a very fine turntable.

Synthesis

The new TP2.5 Series II phono stage represents a tremendous value for those looking to assemble a high resolution analog system at a reasonable cost. Completely redesigned from the earlier version, the TP2.5 is trickled down from our flagship phono stage, the renowned TP6.5. Delivering a large measure of the musicality and resolution of its much more expensive stablemate, the new TP2.5 offers dramatic improvements in speed, delicacy, nuance and drive.

Crafted with a similar high quality build and finish as VTL’s more expensive models, the TP2.5 has an elegant silhouette, and the features to match. With an eye toward flexibility and user friendliness, the 2.5 offers user-adjustable cartridge impedance, and two levels of gain, with inputs for both MC and MM cartridges. JFET/tube hybrid circuitry is used for the MC stage, and all-tube circuitry for the MM stage. Enhanced RIAA compensation and a front-panel switchable rumble filter offer even more functionality. The signal path is purposely kept simple and direct, with audiophile-grade components throughout, for ultimate sonic purity.

Nordost - Heimdall 2 Tonearm Cable

Phono cartridges, with their incredibly low signal levels and clearly defined electrical requirements demand dedicated cable designs. Starting with dimensionally optimized silver-plated OFC solid-core conductors, Nordost’s proprietary Micro Mono-Filament construction creates a virtual air dielectric complete with an elegantly engineered suspension system. Combined with FEP insulation throughout, the result is the ideal electrical and mechanically controlled construction for ultra-fast, low-loss transfer of these extremely delicate signals.
